Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation proudly backs ‘The Big Lunch’

Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation (IFCF) are proudly supporting ‘The Big Lunch’ by hosting big lunches to raise money for our lead charity partner, Action for Children.

This year, Iceland Foods have partnered with ‘The Big Jubilee Lunch’ which will be part of the official community celebration for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend on Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June. IFCF will be celebrating the campaign by hosting Big Lunches as fundraisers to raise vital funds in support of our partnership with Action for Children.

Previously in 2021, IFCF partnered with Eden Project Communities, the organisation behind ‘The Big Lunch’, an initiative celebrating community connections and getting to know one another a little better – with all money raised invested in local communities. Since 2009, ‘The Big Lunch’ has been bringing millions of people together to share food and fun in a nationwide act of community friendship on the first weekend in June every year.

This year, there are more reasons than ever to get together and host your own ‘Big Lunch’ whilst raising funds for Action for Children, who do incredible work for vulnerable children across the UK. Iceland Foods have set up their own ‘Big Lunch’ community hub where you can find some inspirational charity and fundraising ideas and traditional tasty recipes too.

Why not join in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and find out more details on how you can host your own Big Lunch and order your free pack.
