Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation Chooses Action for Children as their 2022 Lead Charity Partner

Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation (IFCF) is delighted to announce Action for Children as 2022 Charity Partner of the Year.

In 2020 we became lead partner of Action for Children’s ‘Secret Santa’ campaign. We made every single one of our team a Secret Santa by donating £280,000, which represented £10 on behalf of each of our 28,000 amazing colleagues.

In December 2021 we continued our lead partnership and once again gave £10 on behalf of each of our colleagues, donating a further £300,000 to create an Action for Children ‘Iceland Winter Fund’.

We’re thrilled that we will be continuing to work with Action for Children as our key charity partner this year. Action for Children are working to improve life for children in the UK. Their vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Action for Children protect and support children and young people. They do this by providing practical and emotional care and support. They make sure their voices are heard, campaigning to bring lasting improvements to their lives.

Even before the pandemic 4.3 million children were living in poverty in the UK and that figure is rising, IFCF and are committed to doing all they can for those children.

When visiting your local Store or Food Warehouse, look out for our charity weeks that will be taking place between 25th May – 15th June 2022. The money raised during store charity weeks will go towards supporting children, young people, and families in communities across the UK, the same communities served by our Iceland and Food Warehouse stores.

Any donation however small, really does matter. Together we can make a big impact on the lives of the children in our communities who need it most. Together, we are one big Family.
